Update in three steps.
Plug in, press one button, wait. Nothing to install.
You need
- A laptop or desktop with Chrome or Edge. Phones, tablets, Firefox and Safari won't work.
- A data cable (USB-C). Charging-only cables look the same and won't connect.
There's nothing new to put on it right now. When there is, the button turns up here on its own.
- 1Plug it in Box to computer with the data cable. The screen should light up.
- 2Press Update my box Pick your box from the list. If it isn't there, unplug it, plug it back in, and try again.
- 3Wait for the bar Don't unplug it while the bar is filling. The box restarts by itself when it's done.
Something still wrong after updating?

Your settings stay
Updating keeps your settings. Nothing else is stored on the box.
If nothing happens
Try a different cable first; most cables only charge. Then try another USB port.
